The forthcoming 25th exhibition of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO botteghe artigiane e le loro committenze will be held from Thursday, May 16 to Sunday, May 19, 2019 – open continuously from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The last exhibition was held in the splendid Corsini Gardens in Florence in May 2018 hosting a new selection of 100 amazing Italian and non-Italian craftspeople and welcomed over 10 thousand visitors. It received excellent press coverage in many different TV and radio shows, both regional and national.

For 25 years, the non-profit cultural association Associazione Culturale Giardino Corsini has been organizing and promoting ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO and has been committed to promoting and preserving the quality of craft excellence, the value of what is made by hand and the wealth of knowledge and skill that every master craftsperson hands down.

After the great success of the 2018 fund-raiser entitled “ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO for the Doccia Museum”, for the Twenty-Fifth edition of the event the association renewed its commitment to promoting and supporting culture.

The 2019 fund-raiser will be dedicated to the restoration of some XIX and XX century monuments witnesses of the connection between Florence and Russia and will actively involve the numerous Russian community in Florence, and also others.

We are already working to attract the interest of institutions, buyers, architects, decorators, interior designers and journalists and to attract a growing audience to the Corsini Gardens.

Today more than ever, ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO is an event of national importance and for this reason the next edition of the Exhibition will be presented to the Italian and international press in mid January in Rome and subsequently in Milan and Florence.

We are pleased to announce that for the next exhibition an internationally famous brand will be present in the “Mostra Principe” – the jewel in the crown of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO. For the occasion, there will be an inaugural cocktail party on the evening of Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30 PM to which the best customers, selected guests, authorities and the press will be invited and we already ask all the exhibitors to be at their stands on that evening.

We are already working on two accompanying events for which great success is expected, that will be held during the Exhibition:

– The BLOGS & CRAFTS” competition will be launched in January and is aimed at young craftspeople below age 35 and bloggers commenting on crafts, lifestyle, fashion and tourism.

The initiative brings together “knowing how” with “knowing how to communicate” with a view to promoting young Italian craftspeople on the global market.

– The daily appointments with “Family Recipes will also be back. This initiative started five years ago to promote the art of cuisine in order to enhance the close link between today’s food culture and that of traditional family recipes and traditional knowledge.

That is why also for this edition there will be international guests, celebrity chefs and cooks who will reinterpret recipes in a contemporary way in front of a large and curious audience, concluding the meeting with a tasting of dishes prepared during live cooking sessions.

The Exhibition and the individual master craftspeople taking part are also promoted through the Internet and an integrated publicity scheme in the most important social networks that meshes in with vast, composite and boundless context that comprises also the special editions organized in past years in Japan, France and the United States of America.

As the Exhibition was so successful and in view of the large numbers of registration requests submitted each year, we reserve the right to assess the applications received within the set date and to communicate acceptance by March 10, 2019 to the selected craftspeople, who must pay the fee for renting a stand by April 30, 2019 or will be barred from the Exhibition.

Also this year, we have decided not to increase the registration fee and offer maximum discounts of 10% off the stand hire fee for exhibitors from outside the Tuscany Region to help them with travel costs.

As in previous years, the “Premio del Comitato Promotore” (Promotion Committee Prize) will be awarded for the best stand and the winner will receive a free stand at the 2020 Exhibition: a spur to your creativity to set up ever more original stands!

We hope to attract an increasing number of master craftspeople from every part of Italy and to focus the attention of a vast and attentive public!

As usual craftspeople who do not work in front of the audience will not be admitted to the Exhibition and that those who have already taken part in the Exhibition will not “automatically” obtain the same position as in past editions because this will help us to make the event more “dynamic” in the eyes of our loyal public.
