Special thanks to the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze for always being at our side, to the Associazione OmA and to the Banca CR Firenze.

The opening days of the 19th edition of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO – the by now customary appointment with the mastery of over 80 Italian and foreign master craftsmen invited by Neri Torrigiani and Giorgiana Corsini to the splendid 17th-century garden of Palazzo Corsini in Florence designed by Gherardo Silvani – became four. The event, in fact, took place from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 May 2013, with the novelty of two extraordinary evening openings until 10.30 p.m. on Friday 17 and Saturday 18, two further opportunities to enjoy the garden also in the magical light of sunset and to admire the gestures and artefacts that the craftsmen create with meticulous and elegant movements, taking care of every detail, under the attentive and curious gaze of a large and affectionate public.

Many initiatives were organised during the days of the exhibition among the flowery avenues and the sumptuous lemon houses of the Corsini Garden: exhibitions, meetings and book presentations, to once again promote and spread the Italian tradition of handmade products and the quality of ancient crafts around the world, continuing the spirit that has animated the creators of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO Giorgiana Corsini and Neri Torrigiani for almost twenty years.
