The contest “BLOGS & CRAFTS Young Artisans and the Web”, started in 2014 during the ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO twentieth anniversary, is the result of “A&P YOUNG 2010: young artisans and fashion” experience, created for Florens 2010 – International Week of Cultural and Environmental Heritage.
For the 9th edition returns, after the success of last year, “BLOGS & CRAFTS Europe”. The young artisans selection will be extended to all the European countries, in collaboration with the World Crafts Council Europe.
Each year, a special jury selects a minimum of 10 under 35 artisans, inviting them at the exhibition for free and providing a specific show area entirely dedicated. During this edition they will be housed at the Stables of Palazzo Corsini. The artisans who come from abroad will be hosted by the 25 hours Hotel.
At the same time, it will be selected a group of influencers, operating in craftsmanship, lifestyle, fashion and tourism sectors, that will be hosted by Starhotels and and that will illustrate all the show details and specific features. They also will be offered a dinner by La Ménagère.
In addition, the Chamber of Commerce of Florence will offer a meeting on the theme “How to become an entrepreneur of yourself” organized by Promofirenze.
The competition aim is to relaunch the exhibition in a more interesting perspective for the new generations, looking into the future and at the importance of the tradition and innovation union.
To promote and add value to craftsmanship and Made in Italy, the collaboration with the Ferragamo Foundation will be renewed. Thanks to that, the contest winners will have the opportunity to visit the Salvatore Ferragamo Archive.

2021
For the 9th edition returns, after the success of last year, “BLOGS & CRAFTS Europe”. The young artisans selection will be extended to all the European countries, in collaboration with the World Crafts Council Europe.
2020
Also this year, for the 7th edition of BLOGS & CRAFTS, developed thanks to the support of Fondazione Ferragamo, a select committee will choose 10 artisans under the age of 35 who will have the opportunity to exhibit their work for free during ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO.
A group of bloggers and influencers will be selected and asked to live blog the event and write a post about their experience. They will be offered one night accommodation in Florence by Starhotels, The Student Hotel and a a dinner at OOO, the restaurant inside the Student Hotel Florence.
2019
“BLOGS & CRAFTS i giovani artigiani e il web” is an initiative begun in 2014 by the ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO exhibition committee that seeks to increase youth engagement in the event. In order to do so, the initiative creates opportunities for bloggers and young traditional artisans to have mutually beneficial exchanges of content and coverage.
2018
